lecture techniques

Lecture are the most  essential part of leaning  in lectures you get the must basic, important and vital information   the lecturer is trying to pass across,  important information if often gotten from lectures.
Attendance in class is one of the vital things in leaning because must times the must important part of the lecture is passed orally and when you don't attend classes you miss it . although people just borrow or ask a friend to explain but the explanation from a friend will not be as clear as the lecturer because the lecturer has a better knowledge about the subject or topic.
power-points are also available, power-points serves as a very good help in parts of your lecture because the lecturer has made it easier fro you by highlighting the important and essential parts point of the topic. i use this when reading and it helps allot , listen again is not  that great cause because they  might be a problem with the recording or the internet so i don't bank on it.
Note taking is also important because when studying you reading the point you have made which are the important parts of the lecture and you can have a better understanding and it helps to take note because most of the time you don't  remember what the lecturer has said, so taking notes helps and it is very important. when taking notes your style is very important  and matter as-well because when you write in a chunk of words this is a wrong way to take notes , you tend to mix it up and this confuses you. Bullet point are the best they are well spaced out and organised, so far i have enjoyed most of my lectures they provide you with powerpoint and visual aids and also a good lecture to back it up. Although one must re-write and summarise the note and points because it gives you a better knowledge about it when u rewrite you understand more than the first time you wrote it and also when revising you can make flash cards which is a card which contains small amount of information which you have rewritten from your note as an aid for learning and re-reading helps swell
